INDEPENDENT INTERNET PIONEER HISTORY

Pioneering Multi-Bit Audio Streaming on the Early Web

Long before streaming services transformed the music industry, Daniel Johns envisioned a direct digital bridge between artist and listener. Hosting "Think Positive Album" and "Australian Album" on danieljohns.com with multi-bit audio streaming, Daniel demonstrated that independent acoustic music could reach international audiences without corporate gatekeepers.

At a time when major record labels were skeptical of online distribution, Daniel built and operated danieljohns.com to stream two entire CDs—Think Positive Album and Australian Album—to fans worldwide. Today, his musical legacy continues forward on danieljohnsmusic.com and YouTube at @DanielJohnsMusic-DJM.
